It was using the latest released Sn0wbreeze 1.6. I aslo wrote on unlocking iPhone 3GS iOS 4 with any baseband. This time it is on how to jailbreak iPod Touch 2G iOS 4 on Windows using Sn0wbreeze 1.6.
Do the following steps to jailbreak your iPod Touch 2G with iOS 4 on Windows operating system.
1. Download iTunes 9.2 from here.
2. Download original iPod Touch 2G iOS 4 firmware.
3. Download Sn0wbreeze 1.6 to jailbreak iPod Touch 2G iOS 4 from here and .NET Framework 3.5 ( to run Sn0wbreeze ) from here.
Now follow the rest of the steps given here correctly to jailbreak your iPod Touch 2G with iOS 4.
