The new Jailbreak tool named the JailbreaMe 2.0 Star has been released by Comex and if you
want to jailbreak iPhone 4, 3GS or 3G on iOS 4/4.0.1 using it, then here is how to do it. Just do the instructions given below correctly to Jailbreak iPhone 4, 3GS, 3G on iOS 4/4.0.1 with JailbreakMe 2.0.
1. Connect your iPhone to the computer and take a backup in iTunes.
2. Now update your iPhone to iOS 4/4.0.1.
3. Now take the browser on your phone and go to this address : http://jailbreakme.com/
4. Now use the ” slide to jailbreak ” option to start the jailbreak process.
5. Wait till the files are downloaded by JailbreakMe 2.0 Star.
6. Now wait till the ” Cydia has been added to the Home Screen ” message is shown on the screen.
That’s it! Now you have a completely jailbroken iPhone with you.

i understand, but how can i access safari app. when my 3gs new bootrom, is still unjailbroked ?!!!! Ok, i did the restore-updated from iTunes, but i’ve no menu just the famous screen for the locked iPhone !!

the solution is to insert the original simcard( doesnt have to be the one that came with the phone just from that carrier.) in the iphone, connect it through usb, and open itunes the iphone will go into the menu right away. then go to safari and type in www.jailbreakme.com and follow the steps. Enjoy your unlocked iphone!!
