The GreenPois0n RC6 was released by the Chronic Dev Team yesterday to jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 untethered on both Windows and Mac OS X. The newer version of GreenPois0n was released to support the Apple TV 2G untethered jailbreak on iOS 4.2.1 firmware. Now, here is a guide to do it on both Windows and Mac OS X. Just a few simple steps :
1. Download GreenPois0n RC6 from here.
2. Launch GreenPois0n and click on the ” Yes ” button.
3. Connect your Apple TV 2G to the computer and click the ” Prepare to Jailbreak (DFU) ” option.
4. Now follow the on-screen instructions to enter into DFU mode.
That’s it! Your Apple TV 2G will be jailbroken untethered on iOS 4.2.1 when GreenPois0n finishes the work.
