Why would I want to tether via Bluetooth at speeds up to 2.1Mbps if I can tether via USB 2.0 at speeds up to 480Mbps?
Works! Thanks–I wonder when Verizon will disable this? This is blocked on the iPhone 4 unless you pay extra for tethering!
Does this work with Windows Vista? if so can you please list the steps?
Also interested in tethering my Droid to with Windwos Vista. Otherwise, I have to pay $49, plus $35 installation, plus $40 per month.
Rob, I want to connect using Bluetooth because it’s wireless — and since the Internet connection is around 0.6 Mbps, it doesn’t matter if my phone is connected to my computer at 2.1 or 480 Mbps since the Internet traffic is slower than both.
