Apple just released the iOS beta 5 few hours ago for developers and its new features have started emerging on surface. One of the most demanding and attractive feature, speech-to-text of iOS 5 has been revealed. For a proof and clarity, a picture is also attached with this blog post. If you are also a developer and still exploring iOS and don’t know that how to activate the speech-to-text feature then here is guide for you.
Simply tap on the microphone icon on the left of the space bar in the write message interface. A new interface will pop up, now you start talking whatever you want to type in the message screen and when you keep quiet, all the speech will appear in a written form on the screen as shown in the image below.

Some sources claims that this feature will only be available on iPhone and iPod Touch and iPad will not have it but these are just rumors up till now and real picture will be cleared after the launch of iOS 5. As we have reported earlier that it’s part of a beta version, so it can cause any kind of problem at this stage and it’s also not confirmed that the final shape will be like this or different than this.
