Using iTunes you could easily update your iPad to iOS 3.2.1. But don’t forget that the credits you got after the jailbreak of your iPad (if you had done it) will be lost. So if you still need a jailbroken iPad, then it is better not to update your iPad to this firmware.

Here is what Planetbeing reported in Twitter yesterday about the iPhone 4 jailbreak and unlock progress.

But the jailbreak and unlock tool for iPhone 4 will not be released till an update for the iOS 4 firmware is released by apple which is expected to arrive within a few weeks. The new update is going to be released soon mainly to fix the antenna reception problem of the iPhone 4.

Sorry, this post was probably a bad idea. Next time I won’t say anything. I miss when this blog was actually about technical things(I’ve been reacting too much to the feedback, which led it to the place it’s in now). I didn’t fully realize most of the current scene don’t care unless they are getting something. Now I do. It’s late tonight, I’ll think about what to do about this in the morning.
The real reason behind no release isn’t technical. It’s just that it will never stop, after blackra1n, people demand unlock, after blacksn0w, people demand untethered. I miss the days when jailbreaking and unlocking were difficult, it attracted a much higher caliber crowd.

According to his blog post, he has managed to jailbreak the iPhone 4 but he hasn’t mentioned the release date for the new jailbreaking tool. He has also mentioned about Limera1n and Pwned4life. He also released a screenshot of the iPhone 4 running Cydia.
